After China

 |
After China (one representative office opened in Shangaï in 2007), the DSA group pursue it growth focusing on the Indian market.
In 2008, we met all the main French actors dedicated to India (Lawyers, Chamber of Commerce, Advisors…) and participated to various conferences and roundtables held in Paris. This observation period convinced us on the opportunity to become a major player specialized in Transaction Services and Corporate Finance for both Indian and French investors.
The DSA India Desk assists our French clients in their desire to invest on the Indian market trough operations such as acquisition, joint-venture or Greenfield investment. |
On the other hand, we support Indian companies who want to enter on the French market in the whole investment process: from targeting to final closing, with a special assistance in performing financial due diligences.
In this respect, our India Desk team, composed of two partners (Maïr Fereres and Serge Gautier ) and two consultants with Indian origins ( Sendil Djearamane and Daniel Ramakichenane), decided to visit in January 2009 the main Indian cities: New Delhi and Mumbaï. In five days, we had more than 20 meetings both with prestigious Indian companies such as Aditya Birla Group, Tata Consultancy Services, United Breweries, Yes Bank and various consultants (AGN members, M&A boutique, Auditors, lawyers etc…). This allowed us to understand all the specific needs and demands from Indian Companies.
Our India Desk is really motivated to pursue its effort on this promising market and three different projects are already in our pipeline. |
