November 2009:
German companies in China feel impact of crisis, but show confidence in market
|
The member firm from China, Fiducia Management Consultants, recently jointly conducted a survey with the German Chamber of Commerce in Greater China in July 2009; the ‘Greater China Business Confidence’ survey which concluded that German companies are in general optimistic about business in China and are confident that the economy in this country will improve in the first half of 2010.
The survey was released by the Delegation of German Industry (AHK) in Greater China and its partner Fiducia Management Consultants. Those partaking in the survey were all member companies of the German Chambers of Commerce in Greater China, focusing on small and medium-seized enterprises.
Following the above named survey, Mr Juergen Kracht, managing director of this member firm and international contact partner for AGN International, held a speech at the Breakfast Briefing hosted by the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SGC) in Singapore on 9 October. Mr Kracht addressed several questions about the current economic climate in China and how German companies in China can address this current situation.
