AGN International, a worldwide association of separate and independent accounting and consulting firms, has appointed a new Regional Chair for their Asia Pacific Region.

At the recently held AGN Asia Pacific Regional Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia, Mr. Thaddaeus Mueller of the China and Hong Kong based member firm Fiducia Management Consultants was appointed as Chair of the Region.

Mr. Mueller holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Catholic University of Eichstaett, Germany and studied in Bolzano, Italy and at the Business School of Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He joined Fiducia Management Consultants in 2005, where his current position is Manager of Business Development and Personnel Management.  He is an advisory board member of the China Sourcing Information Centre and a member of the Europe Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.  He is a native German speaker and speaks English fluently. 

About his new role as the region’s Chair, Mr. Mueller commented: “I am excited to take on the role and responsibilities of the Asia Pacific regional Chair. I have enjoyed working closely with members from this region for the past several years, and look forward to strengthening our bonds as well as creating new networks. There is enormous potential for growth here, especially given the rapid development of China’s economy, so now is the perfect time for all of us – the members, the committee, the newly appointed Regional Manager and myself – to come together and bolster our presence.”

The new Chair of the AGN Asia Pacific region was formally introduced to the member the firms of the region at their recent annual regional meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia.
