AGN International has made a key strategic step forward by creating a new role in the Asia Pacific Region. As of August 2011, a Regional Manager will be operative, based in Hong Kong, and in communication with all countries of the region, but also with the rest of the world.
This new appointment brings the region to a new position, giving AGN Member Firms more resources to increase their business opportunities, brand building, knowledge sharing and co-ordination between investing clients and AGN Member Firms, and tightening current lines of communication both internally and externally.
The person taking this role is Stephen Leung, who comes from a background of undertaking such work in an international environment and has previously worked in both China and the US.
Stephen will be the conduit to provide more knowledge of and to the membership, as well as improving the business development in a region that is key in the international market.
This is a major step forward for AGN and is just one of a number of pivotal strategies that have been put in place this year to ensure that AGN remains a market leader in providing the highest level of information and services in a professional manner to its Member Firms and their clients.
Nicholas Blake, CEO of AGN International states: “This appointment is a very historic one as it is a first of its kind. We have recognized the very high importance of the Asia Pacific region in the business environment both today and in the foreseeable future. This appointment will meet the demands of clients wanting to invest there as well as support the activities of our current Member Firms and build up our membership numbers. I am personally delighted that Stephen has decided to accept this key role as he has the credentials to ensure its success”.
